For the start-up phase of NEO NL, we are looking for: Project Manager (32-40 hours).

Your assignment 

You own the day-to-day delivery of an assigned project, or a defined component of a larger project, within one of NEO’s workstreams (such as Technology Selection, Site Prep, or FEED). Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Workstream Lead, you build and maintain the project plan, ensuring that all activities and resources are thoroughly organised to deliver on objectives. You take the lead in daily delivery, actively unblocking issues, driving milestones, and escalating complex matters when they exceed your scope. Additionally, you manage your project's specific scope, schedule, and cost baseline, and raise Change Requests in accordance with the PMO process. You ensure accurate and timely reporting on progress and actively manage your project's RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to swiftly implement mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you apply the PMO's strict standards and best practices in project management, document management, and planning across your project. 

Your background and experience

• You are educated to a degree level in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. 
• You bring at least 3 of hands-on project management experience gained in complex, multidisciplinary environments. 
• You have experience leading project teams composed of mixed disciplines. 

We also value if you have:

• Experience in capital-intensive sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or the process industry (experience in nuclear or other high-hazard environments is a plus). 
• A recognised Project Management certification (e.g., PMI PMP, APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner), or you are actively progressing toward one. 
• A working understanding of core Project Controls principles, such as Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path analysis, and basic risk management. 
• A track record of building constructive working relationships in matrixed or dual-reporting structures.

• Analytical Risk Awareness: You maintain a sharp focus on variations in scope, schedule, and budget, accurately managing the risk log while upholding our strict nuclear safety culture. 
• Collaborative Leadership: You are highly skilled at building constructive relationships across functional boundaries and effectively managing multidisciplinary teams. 
• Quality Focus: You consistently apply the highest PMO standards and proactively flag when field situations require adaptations, ensuring premium quality at all times.
