A Mission That Matters
To achieve its climate goals, the Netherlands has committed to realizing low-carbon electricity. The Nuclear Energy Organization Netherlands (NEO NL) contributes to this by building and operating two new nuclear power plants on behalf of the government. Get to know NEO NL as an intern or through a graduation project and contribute to one of the largest energy projects our country has ever seen. You might even transition into an engaging entry-level position afterward, making an impact that will be felt for decades.
Over the course of 2026, NEO NL is looking for: Student Opportunities (Internships and graduation projects) (Hours per week: To be discussed, depending on the internship or position). Please note: This is an open application. The duration and format of the assignment (internship or graduation project) will be determined at a later stage in consultation with you.
Opportunities
We are currently building the NEO NL organization step by step. Behind the scenes, we are working hard to create our first internship and graduation project placements. Because we are in full development, we expect to be able to offer these positions in the near future—for example, for the intake periods towards the autumn or January 2027.
